Poor Nova! She was originally adopted from the kill shelter a while back, was dropped off at a vet’s office, and no one ever returned to pick her back up. After a few months of waiting for her family to come back, it was decided that she needed to find a new home. Because she is so friendly and loving, the staff did not want to send her back to the shelter, so they called us instead. Nova is estimated at 4 years old. She is not a very big dog, more of a medium build. She loves people, and seems to really like kids. In fact, she tried to follow a family out of the Petco where we hold our adoption events the other day. It was like she was saying, “take me with you, please!” ha ha. Nova rides very well in the car, seems to walk nicely on a leash, and even seems to know some basic commands. Nova-Tanzi would probably do best in an only home even though she was adopted with another dog. She is protective of her family when new dogs come around.
